Acceleration Co-op

One of the strengths of Acceleration Co-op is the breadth of experience that can be brought to bear on your problems. But sometimes you need someone to roll up their sleeves and dig more deeply into those problems.
 
Advisor connections provides a mechanism for you to engage with one or more of our expert members in a way that goes beyond what you can do through this website. It is designed to help you interact one-on-one with our expert members, or retain them for a custom consulting engagement.

How advisor connections works:

1. Activate.
   Activate the Advisor connections feature in your account, by executing the Advisor Connections Operating Agreement. 
2. Contact experts.
   To contact an expert with whom you wish to interact, go to the expert's profile page (by clicking on the expert's username). At the bottom of the profile page, click on the "Send this user a message" link. The expert will receive a private message from you, with whatever contents you choose to write. If there is no "send this user a message" link, it means the expert has not activated the "Advisor connections" feature in his/her account, and does not want to be contacted.
3. Interact privately.
   You and the expert can interact privately using this private message functionality. Determine whether you and the expert want to work together.
4. Negotiate a relationship that works for you.
   If there is a mutual fit, it is up to the acceleratee (you) and the expert to agree on the details of the business relationship and on the terms of the compensation.
5. No unwanted solicitations
   We encourage our experts to reach out to you if they think they can help, or offer useful advice. However, we have a "no solicitation" policy, and ask our experts not to contact you with general consulting solicitations, advertisements, or other business promotions. If you wish you can disable the private messaging capability in your account, and then you cannot be contacted by other members. You can also block individual members from sending you messages.
6. Fee.
   If (but only if) you enter into a business relationship, you will owe the Acceleration Co-op a (modest) percentage of whatever compensation you agreed upon with the expert. See the advisor connection operating agreement for details.

Eligibility.

• All expert members are eligible to activate the advisor connections feature. Only those experts who have activated the advisor connections feature can be contacted.
• Acceleratee members must have purchased a silver premium interaction package (or higher level) to activate the advisor connections feature.
