Membership categories
There are four categories of membership in the Acceleration Co-op community.
1. Expert members
Experts make up the core of the community. Are you an expert?
Apply for expert membership (Your background must show a suitable level of "expertness". Free.)
2. Personal acceleratee members (one business)
Personal acceleratee members are people who are leaders and managers of a business and want to benefit from the expertise of our community. Typical examples are: CxO level executives; Founders of new ventures; General managers of large company business units; Independent directors; Entrepreneurs.

3. Portfolio acceleratee members (portfolio of businesses)
Portfolio acceleratee members have similar goals to personal members, but are responsible for multiple businesses not just one. They include investors (venture and professional angels), technology transfer executives, and others who are responsible for a portfolio of businesses (or research projects) and who believe they can benefit from access to the Acceleration Co-op expert community.

4. Ecosystem members
Ecosystem members are people active and interested in growing businesses, or creating businesses, or commercializing technology, but who do not fit the definitions of acceleratees or experts. Ecosystem members include lawyers, accountants, investment bankers, governmental policy makers responsible for encouraging economic growth through innovation, and academics interested in growth and innovation.

- If you are interested in joining the Acceleration Co-op community, please go ahead and register in one of the four categories above. Registration is free, and involves no collection of financial information.
- Membership is by application. We review each application carefully. This typically takes less than one day, but may take up to 5 days.
- Our goal is to limit membership to experts who fit our definition of "experts"; and acceleratees who will benefit from, and contribute to, the community; and ecosystem members who want to help companies grow. So please complete the registration form with enough detail to show you should be a member.
- Additional premium acceleratee membership levels are available once you become a basic member.
