As a named inventor and co-founder of a company in 1980, I led operations and the engineering team which developed the on-line bank teller machine. As the co-founder of a Development Stage Enterprise, from 1983 to 1989, I was responsible for the development and successful deployment of several product innovations into the wireless device marketplace. These included the first hand held electronic air pressure gauges, for which I set-up manufacturing in Europe and marketing through Sharper Image; and the world’s first wireless LAN, including the patenting of the routing algorithms, and the design and manufacturing of the hardware and software NIC card for the Novell OS. After the worldwide introduction at Comdex in 1987 we sold the product rights to NCR.
